Ludwar Law Firm is a firm based in Calgary that focuses on long-term disability claims across all of Alberta and Saskatchewan and severe personal injury claims across all of Alberta.
We are responsive to our clients’ needs and return calls the same day. We know that many clients are dealing with much more than just the legal aspects of getting disability approved and often need information on many aspects of living with a disability. Our clients appreciate being able to talk to people who can explain the process, their options and what will happen during their claim.

The History of Ludwar Law Firm
Ludwar Law Firm has been committed to the legal interests of people across Calgary and throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan for years.
- 1996 – James began working in the litigation department of a law firm in Regina.
- 1999 – James moved to Calgary to accept a partnership in a boutique litigation firm.
- 2012 – James launches Ludwar Law Firm.
- Today – Ludwar Law Firm handles long-term disability, CPP, and personal injury in Alberta as well as disability and CPP claims in Saskatchewan.

James Ludwar has 25 years of experience as a lawyer and has good working relationships with people involved in personal injury and disability claims in all of Alberta and Saskatchewan as well as personal injury in all of Alberta.
James has represented clients in the Provincial Court and Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and Saskatchewan, the Court of Appeal of Alberta and Saskatchewan Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal as well as in administrative tribunals. His calm, stress-free demeanour and flexibility are highly appreciated by clients.
